We are pleased to announce that Abirami Subramanian has joined Folich LLC as Associate Director, marking a significant step in our firm’s growth.

Abirami brings a collective six years of experience in the practice areas of criminal defence and civil and commercial litigation. She is admitted to practice in Victoria and the Australian Capital Territory in Australia. She began her legal career in criminal defence as a solicitor-advocate at Victoria Legal Aid. Subsequently, Abirami moved to a private firm where she headed the criminal defence practice before returning to Singapore. In Singapore, Abirami has represented clients in a range of civil and commercial litigation disputes with a focus on shipping (wet and dry) and international trade disputes. She has represented ship owners, charterers and cargo interests both at the High Court of Singapore and in international arbitrations.

With this appointment, Folich LLC’s team of practicing lawyers grows from three to four, bringing our total headcount to five, including our practice manager. This growth reflects the steady increase in instructions we have seen across our core practice areas, particularly in complex corporate matters, civil litigation, data protection, and intellectual property.
